Insects

The study of insects still remains incomplete. Among the 225 species of insects recorded 10% are of Indo-Chinese and Malayasian affinities, 42% of Peninsular Indian affinities and remaining 48% widely distributed in India and elsewhere. 28 new species are described frm Silent Valley National Park.
